As they prepare to host regionals this weekend, the Louisville and Kentucky baseball teams will begin the NCAA Tournament among the betting favorites to win the College World Series title.

U of L (47-10), which is the tournament’s No. 7 overall seed, has 15-2 odds, tied with LSU and Florida as the third favorites in the 64-team field, according to the Bovada.lv sportsbook.

Kentucky (39-20), which was thought to be in consideration for a national seed for much of season, is the co-eighth choice at 12-1.

Should they both advance past the regionals, U of L and UK would meet in a super-regional series at U of L next week.

No. 1 national seed Oregon State is the tournament favorite at 4-1, followed by No. 2 North Carolina at 5-1.
