Danica Patrick and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. might have a nice relationship off the track, but it wasn’t an ideal day for the couple during Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350.

Patrick (No. 10) spun out after being nudged on one of the difficult turns at Sonoma Raceway. She ended up colliding into Stenhouse (No. 17). Fox NASCAR captured the incident:

While Patrick recovered for 17th place, Stenhouse did not return to the race and completed just 30 laps.

Patrick and Stenhouse received the bulk of the damage, but it was actually Kyle Larson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. most responsible for the wreck, as described by Jeff Gluck:

Of course, her inability to stop the spin led to the Stenhouse collision.

Tell Ricky I’m sorry,” Patrick said over the radio immediately after the wreck, per Dustin Long of NBC Sports.

Patrick is one of the most popular drivers in the Monster Energy series despite currently sitting 28th in the current standings, while Stenhouse currently ranks 17th after the latest event.

The two have officially been a couple since 2013.
