NASCAR drivers explain keys to success at Auto Club – FOXSports.com

In the final leg of NASCAR Goes West, the Monster Energy Series heads to Auto Club Speedway for the Auto Club 400.

The wide and worn 2-mile speedway has a lot of character and demands a lot from the drivers.

Some of the drivers who have had success at the Southern California track told “NASCAR Race Hub” what keys they try to accomplish to be successful at the track.

While Kurt Busch focuses on short-run speed, while six-time Auto Club winner Jimmie Johnson searches for versatility in the race car.

Matt Kenseth agrees with Johnson that being versatile and having a car that can move all over the track is a major factor in success.
