The passion of putting money up to see just how good of a general manager you could be of an MLB, NFL or NBA team has turned into a big industry. There are dozens of websites that cater to fantasy players and the economics can be quite good for those that succeed.

Over 57 million people in the U.S. and Canada play fantasy sports. Until recent legal challenges, daily fantasy sports was the fastest-growing niche of this industry. And a few years ago, each of the four major sports leagues in the U.S. had partnered with the two biggest daily fantasy sports companies–FanDuel and DraftKings.
