Call this our Pawl of Fame, I guess.

On Wednesday night, a feline ran on to the field during a Cardinals-Royals tilt in St. Louis, and on the very next pitch, Cards catcher Yadier Molina hit a grand slam.

That means we absolutely must rank the greatest cats to invade pro sports games of all time, including this little fella. Away we go:

7.

Alright, so this cat brought to a Saints game didn’t do anything, but we’ve got to include it just because.

6.

This black cat who invaded the San Jose Sharks’ arena got named Jo Paw-velski, which is great.

5.

This cat in Anaheim showed off some serious speed.

4.

Points for scaling the wall and for finding a nice spot on the Marlins’ statue.

3.

Any animal that helps your team win a game deserves to be high on the list.

2.

Almost the GOAT cat, mostly because we got an all-time great baseball blooper out of it (side note: Hope that guy’s arms and hands were okay after all the scratching).

1.

The most famous cat in sports cursed the Chicago Cubs in 1969 — after the critter ran in front of the Cubs’ dugout, the team that had been in first all season collapsed and missed the playoffs.
