Once the fight made it to the parking lot, the suspect opened fire, striking two women and a man, according to police.

The suspect then fled the scene on foot. Police and Texas Department of Public Safety helicopter units were called to the scene to search for the suspect, but he was not found. Authorities continued their search later Monday morning.

Paramedics transported all three victims to University Hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries. They were identified by police as Lisa Thornton, 33; Rolando Barbon, 30; and Mayra Barbon, who turned 33 on Monday.

Officers found pistol shell casings on the south and west side of the sports bar and rifle shell casings in the parking lot behind the bar to the north.

Police interviewed “several” people at the bar, according to a preliminary police report, and ultimately brought in one person for further questioning. One vehicle was taken from the scene for further processing.
