Storyline

James Madison has won every game this year in decisive fashion, but 4-2 Villanova will give it a challenge. Although Nova has lost two close games to Albany and Temple, it has four wins by a combined 108 points. The Wildcats have looked dominant in their four wins, and their defense has been a difference maker. However, Villanova will once again need to prove that it can win close games, as James Madison will hang around even with a fast start.

It’ll be no easy task for the talented Dukes to keep up with the fast-paced Wildcat offense, but they’re undefeated for a reason. Simply put, James Madison will undoubtedly be looking to bury Nova early. JMU has its sights set on continuing its FCS title defense, and this game will be a huge step before the Dukes close their season out against competition that Nova surpasses, at least on paper.
