Keep it off the floor. Just grab and go. Don't hide your boards under the bed. HangTime skateboard wall mounts display your skateboard in style. Truck mounting screws must be steel for the magnetic mount to hold your skateboard securely. If your board uses stainless steel screws the unit may not hold in place. There are 2 methods for using the magnetic mount; with and without the lower mounting bracket. You may omit the lower mounting bracket and use the floor to support the board or use the lower mounting bracket to support the board when mounted higher on the wall. The lower mounting bracket is intended to be mounted within 15" from the floor. Housing is all plastic construction, with high strength magnets for retaining your skateboard.
