24 Nebraska baseball players get stuck in an elevator, hilarity ensues – CBSSports.com
Although the MLB regular season is only six weeks old, the NCAA Division I baseball season is already winding down. The conference tournaments are happening this week and the regionals are coming up soon.
The University of Nebraska baseball team is currently in Minnesota preparing for the Big Ten Tournament. They’ll play Illinois at Target Field on Wednesday. On Tuesday, most of the team got stuck in an elevator together, presumably at their hotel. Junior catcher Colton Howell says 24 (!) players were in the elevator at once:
Well just had 24 teammates stuck in an elevator….needless to say you can cross that off the bucket list!!!

Senior catcher Tanner Lubach made sure to chronicle the ordeal on Twitter. Here’s the team squeezed into the elevator:

Gosh, getting stuck in an elevator is one of my biggest fears. Just stuck in there with no way out, hanging from the cables … yikes. (Yes, I’m a wuss.)
