St. Louis Cardinals broadcaster and former major league reliever Al Hrabosky is scheduled as the guest speaker at the 11th annual Claremore Field of Dreams Baseball Banquet on Jan. 12 at the Claremore Conference Center.
Hrabosky, who was nicknamed “The Mad Hungarian,” pitched in the majors from 1970-82 with St. Louis, Kansas City and Atlanta. He led the National League with 22 saves in 1975. Hrabosky also pitched for the Tulsa Oilers in 1971 and ’73.

The event also includes a silent and live auction of baseball memorabilia. The auction and social hour begins at 6 p.m., followed by the banquet at 7.
Tables for eight are available at $650 and individual tickets are $100 each. Proceeds go to the baseball programs at Claremore High School and Rogers State.
