Reinstated Gordon apologizes on Twitter

Miami Marlins second baseman Dee Gordon issued an apology on Twitter addressed primarily to his young fans as he returned from an 80-game suspension for a positive drug test.

Gordon, who won the NL batting and stolen base titles last year, was reinstated before Thursday’s game against the Cardinals.
