“Juuuuuust a bit outside…”
Who can forget that line iconic line uttered by baseball announcer Harry Doyle from one of the greatest baseball movies ever made, “Major League.”
Of course, the real Harry Doyle, the amazing Bob Uecker is pretty, well, amazing himself. Uecker, the longtime Milwaukee Brewers‘ broadcaster, is in his 60th season in Major League Baseball. In conjunction with tonight’s “Major League” Night, the Brewers will celebrate Ueck’s 60 years in baseball.
The Hall-of-Fame broadcaster will throw out the ceremonial first pitch, and a donation of $10,000 will be made in his name to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
A very lucky 4,000 fans who purchased tickets through the Major League Night package will receiver a Harry Doyle bobblehead. To check out the bobblehead, click here.
