EUGENE – It’s game three of the Civil War baseball matchup at PK Park on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We will be posting updates throughout the game.
OSU (23-10, 6-5 Pac-12) will be sending right-hander Travis Eckert (3-0, 3.26 ERA) to the hill against the Ducks (20-16, 3-8), who will start right-hander Conor Harber (3-1, 4.06).

FIRST INNING: An easy 1-2-3 inning for Harber, who strikes out two.
The Ducks, who have five hits in the series, will look to get their offensive going against Eckert.
Oregon got lead-off hitter aboard on second baseman Christian Donahue’s error, had runners on first and second following a one-out single from Mitchell Tolman. But Eckert worked out of trouble.
SECOND INNING: The Beavers put three runs on the board and that could be a big hill to climb for the Ducks, who have not exactly been an offensive firepower in the series.
Jeff Hendrix led off with a double and King’s single put runners at the corners. Kyle Noback delivered a run-scoring single.
With one out, Logan Ice singled to left and King scored on left fielder Phil Craig-Louis’ error. The third run came home on a perfectly executed squeeze play by Caleb Hamilton.
A slugest has broken out.
Oregon scores three runs in the bottom of the frame to tie the game at 3-3.
Tim Susnara had an RBI single, and Jakob Goldfarb’s two-out, two-run single knotted the score. Oregon has five hits, matching its total from the first two games of the series combined.
THIRD INNING: The Beavers’ bats caught fire in the third inning, starting with Christian Donahue’s triple.
Oregon State scored six runs in the inning and chased Ducks starter Connor Harber from the game.
Josh Graham came in to relieve Harber and allowed two runs. The line for Harber: 2 IP, 6 H, 7 R, 5 ER, 0 BB, 3 K.
Scott Heineman doubled in Phil Craig-St. Louis in the bottom of the third to cut the Ducks’ deficit to 9-4.
Brandon Cuddy hits a two-run home run to cut the Beavers’ lead to 9-6.
Mark Karaviotis was hit by a pitch, but the home plate umpire determined that he didn’t attempt to get out of the way. George Horton argued the call. Meanwhile, Pat Casey replaced Trent Shelton with Zach Reser on the mound.
FOURTH INNING: The offensive fireworks continue.
After OSU went down in order, the Ducks explosed for three more runs on Phil St. Louis’ three-run homer to right center off reliever Zack Reser.
Oregon had 11 hits, more than double its output from the first two games in the series.
FIFTH INNING: Josh Graham has settled in on the mound for the Ducks. He had an easy fifth inning.
Same for Kevin Flemer for the Beavers.
The game is tied at 9-9 heading to the sixth inning.
SIXTH INNING: A quiet sixth inning. Confusion in right center field produced a lead-off double for Trever Morrison leading off the for the Beaves, but he was left stranded.
The Ducks went down in order.
We’re still tied at 9-9 heading to the seventh.
SEVENTH INNING: Graham continues to pitch well for the Ducks.
In five innings today, he has allowed five hits and two runs, one earned, and walked one while striking out five. He has pitched four scoreless innings in a row.
OSU pitcher Luke Heimlich is in to pitch, the fifth pitcher of the day for the Beavers.
Cuddy walked and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt. Then Shaun Chase, who came in as a pinch hitter, was intentionally walked. Grebeck then popped out to first base.
EIGHTH INNING: After a fourth consecutive scoreless inning, the Ducks took advantage.
Jakob Goldfarb walked with one out. Second baseman Christian Donahue’s second error of the game, on a ground ball by Mitchell Tolman, put runners at the corners.
Phil Craig-St Louis followed with a run-scoring single to left off reliever Luke Heimlich, giving the Ducks a 10-9 lead.
It’s last chance time for the Beavers, who will have the 3-4-5 hitters coming to the plate.
NINTH INNING: Garrett Cleavinger in to close it for the Ducks.
He strikes out Harrison to start the ninth.
Hendrix singled to left-center and represents the potential game-tying run on first base.
Gabe Clark in to pinch hit for the Beavers. Cleavinger strikes Clark out.
Last chance for the Beavers is Nobach. Runner on first with two outs. Ducks lead 10-9.
