After finishing off the regular season with the most league wins ever by an Atlantic Coast Conference team, the University of Louisville will be headed this week to Durham, N.C., for the ACC Championship tournament.

U of L (42-14, 25-5), which took two of three games at NC State to close the regular season and won all 10 of its league series, holds the No. 1 overall seed in the 10-team tournament at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The event is divided into five-team pools with a round-robin format from Wednesday to Saturday after initial Tuesday play-in games between the two lowest-seeded teams in each pool.

The final four teams in each pool will all play each other once, and the pool winners will face off 1 p.m. Sunday for the league title.

In Pool A, Louisville’s first game will be 7 p.m. Wednesday against the winner of Tuesday’s play-in game between No. 8 North Carolina (32-22, 13-16) and No. 9 Virginia Tech (27-26, 13-16).

The Cards will follow against No. 5 Clemson (31-25, 16-13) at 3 p.m. Thursday and No. 4 Florida State (37-19, 17-13) at 11 a.m. Saturday.

No. 2 Miami, No. 3 Notre Dame, No. 6 NC State, No. 7 Virginia and No. 10 Georgia Tech are in Pool B.

Regional Sports Networks from across the conference footprint will carry all 14 games on Tuesday through Saturday, and Sunday’s championship game will be on ESPN2. All games will also be available online at ESPN3. On the radio, U of L’s games will be carried on 93.9.
