– A lefty against the Mets (Justin Nicolino) means enhanced value for Travis d’Arnaud (1.271 OPS vs. LHP this year), David Wright (1.114), Yoenis Cespedes (1.007 since joining the Mets), Wilmer Flores (.988), Juan Uribe (.902), and Lucas Duda (.881). Don’t overpay for Curtis Granderson (.505) or Daniel Murphy (.578).

– Erasmo Ramirez has owned lefthanded batters (.191/.262/.313) and pitched well at home (2.71 ERA) this year. It could be a long night for Yankees’ lefties like Jacoby Ellsbury, Brian McCann, and Brett Gardner, among others.

– Chris Davis (.903 OPS), Nolan Reimold (.881), and Adam Jones (.837) have all hit well against lefties this year, so give one (or more) a shot against Eduardo Rodriguez.

– Kevin Gausman has allowed a .552 SLG to righties this year. Mookie Betts, Dustin Pedroia, Xander Bogaerts, and Rusney Castillo have a little more value than usual today.

– Aaron Nola has been lights out in his brief major league career against righthanded batters (.203/.266/.359), so don’t overpay for Anthony Rendon, Jayson Werth, or any of Washington’s other key righties.

– Mike Napoli continues to hit lefties well this season (.919 OPS), so fire him up against Scott Kazmir. Be careful with Shin-Soo Choo and Joey Gallo, who both have sub-.610 OPS’s vs. LHP this year.

– Logan Forsythe and Evan Longoria have OPS’s over 1.000 against LHP this year, making both fantastic options against CC Sabathia. Rays’ teammates J.P. Arencibia, Steven Souza Jr. and Brandon Guyer are also hitting lefties well and could be nice sleepers.

– Jed Lowrie, Carlos Correa, George Springer, Jose Altuve, and Marwin Gonzalez all have OPS’s of at least .830 against LHP this season, which is bad news for Cole Hamels.

– Aaron Hicks (.960 OPS vs. LHP this year) is a nice sleeper against southpaws, while Miguel Sano and Brian Dozier are always threats to take lefties deep. Consider a Twins stack against Detroit’s Kyle Lobstein.

– Brett Lawrie (.839 OPS), Marcus Semien (.814), and Josh Phegley (.803) have all had a decent amount of success against lefties this season, so if you’re looking for a cheap option to fill out your lineup, give one of these three a try against John Danks.

– James Shields has been better lately against lefties, but he’s still allowing a .271/.360/.503 line to them for the season. Ender Inciarte, David Peralta, and Jake Lamb all have sleeper potential.

– It’s a very small sample size, but lefties have really lit up KeyviusSampson this year (.368/.456/.537). Angel Pagan, Alejandro De Aza, and Brandon Belt are worth a look.
