The arrival of Division 3 state champion Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett only makes the Division 1 field all the more power-packed.
Returning state semifinalist Hartland has the horses to make a push for its second state title in three years, fronted by second-team all-stater Hunter Delanoy and fellow returners Jack Slavin, Max Hendricks, Cade Martin and Jake Moyer.
If Saginaw Heritage can weather the rugged Saginaw Valley League – with state title-caliber programs Bay City Western, Midland and Mount Pleasant – it can contend with anybody. The Hawks return all-staters Noah Marcoux and Spencer Schwellenbach and can’t be overlooked.
