FanDuel Fantasy Baseball Picks: June 20 – Talking Chop

The Atlanta Braves probably don’t want an off day after five straight wins, but Monday brings one anyway. Fortunately, baseball persists.

SB Nation and FanDuel continue to partner on daily fantasy baseball, and we will bring you regularly scheduled lineup recommendations throughout the 2016 season. Today’s slate isn’t exactly chalked full of easy calls, but we battle on to the finish line.

Editor’s Note: New players win cash in their first league or get their entry fee refunded! Offered in partnership with FanDuel.

Let’s get to it.

Note: This lineup would be used in today’s main 7:05 pm ET contest.

P – Clayton Kershaw ($13,000)

C – Victor Martinez ($3,100)

1B – Prince Fielder ($2,300)

2B – Jonathan Schoop ($3,000)

3B – Jung-Ho Kang ($2,300)

SS – Ketel Marte ($2,500)

OF – Seth Smith ($3,600)

OF – Corey Dickerson ($3,000)

OF – Albert Almora Jr. ($2,000)

I would understand if you don’t want to play Kershaw today… but I’m going to. The left-hander continues to be out of this world, and even against the sometimes potent Nationals, I’m rolling with Kershaw again.

Elsewhere, I love the value of Kang (even against Madison Bumgarner) for this price, and the Marte-Smith duo against Mike Pefrey is appetizing. Long-time readers of this space will likely note a fascination with Dickerson, but he’s got a prime match-up and we’ll fill in the pieces elsewhere.

Good luck, all.
