Retired Hamilton County Judge Norbert Nadel ruled in favor of Pete Rose back in 1989, the year he was banned from baseball. Nadel said all this time, he’s never understood the ban.

Nadel essentially said the judge who ruled in Rose’s Major League Baseball case had pre-judged him.

According to Nadel, “Charlie Hustle” deserves more than the Reds Hall of Fame, he should get the highest honor in baseball.

“I think he’s eligible for the major Hall of Fame. I think he’s done… he’s done his time. It’s been what, at least, 20, 25, 26 years. There was no corruption involved as I recall. I think Pete Rose should be in the Hall of Fame and he should be back in baseball. He’s done his time and I don’t know what the problem is,” Nadel said.
