NJ’s Mike Trout’s amazing catch is now a Topps baseball card – NJ.com

Mike Trout’s highlights are so good that they find new ways to live on forever.

Last September, Trout robbed Seattle Mariners first baseman (and former Yankees prospect) Jesus Montero with this home-run saving grab in Los Angeles.

While the video is on the internet for baseball fans to gawk at, Topps Company re-invented the still shot as baseball card. In a recent vote by MLB fans, the image of Trout jumping for the outrageous catch was voted the No. 1 card in the series for 2016.

With just a few weeks separating the cold of winter from pitchers and catchers reporting to spring training, Trout can wrap up his cameo as a weather expert and get back to important business like being the best baseball player on the planet.
