OSU Baseball’s Incredible Run Ends – kfor.com

Thomas Hatch has been nothing short of amazing this season for Oklahoma State. The Cowboys ace had a scoreless innings streak of 25 entering the third and decisive game between OSU and Arizona for a trip to the College World Series Finals. That streak ended and so did OSU’s season.

Hatch was chased off after just two innings and giving up four runs. A tough game to struggle in. Oklahoma State lost 5-1 to Arizona for a second straight game.

Despite the Cowboys success this year, bats in the CWS just didn’t produce. The Cowboys wrap the season with a 43-22 record.

OSU head coach Josh Holliday says this team should be “celebrated.” And they’d be worth the celebration too. The Pokes picked up their first CWS win since 1993.
