TULSA, Okla. — Top-seed TCU, the nation’s fifth-ranked team, has been eliminated from the Big 12 baseball tournament after just two games.
The Horned Frogs, who were upset by Baylor in Thursday’s opening round, got beat again Friday morning by Texas Tech. Surprisingly, the game was not competitive as Tech scored all of its runs in the first four innings of an 8-1 rout.
At 3:15 p.m. Friday, Tech will play the loser of Thursday’s second-round match up between Texas and Baylor.
