Yoenis Cespedes is a baseball player. As a baseball player, he is equipped with a very good and very functional baseball glove. A glove is great for catching baseballs hit at high speeds. For whatever reason, Cespedes decided he didn’t need to use a perfectly good glove when he could use his chest instead.

That does not seem like an advisable way for most people to field a baseball. But, most people are not as smooth as Cespedes. When you’re Yoenis Cespedes you can work on your soccer skills during a baseball game.
The chest ball didn’t hurt the Mets in the situation and Cespedes bombed a home run later in the game, so keep doing what you’re doing, Yoenis.
