Had 14 shutouts, eight goals allowed all year and a 15-3-1 overall record for Brandon, which advanced to the MHSAA 6A quarterfinals this season.
NATE BOND
SENIOR | OCEAN SPRINGS
One of the best defenders in the state, Bond was a major part of the 6A runner-ups this season. He also scored a goal, and had eight assists.
CALEB CARPENTER
SENIOR | CLINTON
One of the better forwards going, Clinton had 22 goals, six assists and 50 total points this year for the Arrows, who went to the 6A semifinals.
BRENT HALL
SENIOR | JACKSON PREP
Out of the midfield Hall put up 31 goals, 19 assists and 81 total points. He also had the game-winning goal for the seventh-straight state championship.
TANNER LEGGETT
SENIOR | CENTRAL HINDS
The striker had a remarkable 57 goals to lead everyone in MAIS, plus another 16 assists for a total of 130 points.
ETHAN LOFTIN
SENIOR | BAY
A midfielder, Bay had 26 goals, 16 assists and 68 total points for the 4A runner-ups. One of the best scorers from the midfield in the state.
TYLER MUSIAL
SENIOR | ST. PATRICK
The 1A-2A-3A champion depended on Musial, who had 35 goals and 23 assists from the forward position.
AUSTIN RAMEY
SENIOR | JACKSON ACADEMY
The midfielder scored 20 goals and had 10 helpers for the Raiders, who advanced to the state championship game.
SUMNER RICHARDSON
SENIOR | NORTHWEST RANKIN
The fullback made his presence known all year, with six goals and nine assists. He really came through with a goal and assist in the state championship.
CHANDLER SHIRLEY
SENIOR | NORTHWEST RANKIN
The midfielder had 14 goals and nine assists, a total of 37 points, for the Cougars this season.
JOHN AVERY SLAY
SENIOR | BRANDON
The defender finished the year with six goals and an assist plus stellar play in the back end for the 6A quarterfinalists.

BO BOWMAN
SENIOR | BAY
A forward, Bowman had 28 goals and 17 assists for 73 total points for the Tigers, helping lead the team to the 4A state championship.
KEATON CALHOON
JUNIOR | OXFORD
The Chargers won the 5A state championship, with Calhoon bearing much of the scoring load, with 15 goals and 13 assists.
DENNYS DIAZ
JUNIOR | FOREST
The striker had a state-best 59 goals scored this season, plus helped on 12 others, for the 1A-2A-3A runner-ups.
ANDREW ELKINS
SENIOR | ST. STANISLAUS
Playing in the back four, Elkins had seven goals, 12 assists and 26 total points for a team that advanced to the 4A semifinals.

Out of the mdifield Greer had 14 assists on Warren Central goals, plus 16 goals himself. Forty-six total points for the playoff-bound Vikings.
MIKE JIMENEZ
JUNIOR | OCEAN SPRINGS
Hard to discount the impact of Jimenez on the 6A runner-up Greyhounds. The midfielder had 12 goals with 13 assists this season.
JACOB OVERTON
SENIOR | TUPELO
The back-line defender had another very good season for Tupelo, including nine goals and four assists to help lead the team.
HUNTER PATTERSON
SENIOR | JACKSON PREP
Patterson played a strong backline defense role for seven-time MAIS state champions Prep.
CARSON TACKETT
SENIOR | NORTHWEST RANKIN
His 15th shutout of the season came in the 6A state championship game against Ocean Springs, and Tackett allowed 0.39 goals per game heading into that matchup.
PARKER TRAWICK
SENIOR | MADISON CENTRAL
The forward really emerged this season for the Jaguars, scoring 15 goals and also one helper for Madison Central.

SENIOR | NORTHWEST RANKIN
A quick player out of the midfield for the Cougars, Ware scored 13 goals this season with six assists for the 6A state champions.

NORTHWEST RANKIN
OK, so Gardner’s Northwest Rankin team won the 6A state title this year in impressive fashion during the playoffs. It was the school’s first since the classification was created in 2010. But under Gardner’s leadership Northwest Rankin finished the entire year 23-1, and ranked No. 1 nationally after outscoring opponents 87-12.
