Multiple explosions sounded off at the Stade de France in Paris on Friday night during a soccer match between France and Germany.

The explosions were heard during a night when dozens have been reported killed after shooters opened fire in central Paris. They later took around 100 people hostage in a concert hall, police said.

French president François Hollande was at the match, but was escorted out by security after the explosions.

After the match, many of the spectators milled together on the pitch.

From the AP:

More than 30 minutes after the game, there were about 2,000 fans on the field as the stadium announcer reassured them that it was safe to leave and use public transport as usual, and directed them to which exit gates they could use. The atmosphere was calm but they were slow to filter out.
