Guy fakes sick to get into hospital with view of Juventus soccer match, but fails – CBSSports.com

Italian giants Juventus traveled to Crotone on Wednesday for a Serie A match, and it was a hot ticket. With the best Italian team making the trip, the match was obviously sold out.

So what do you do when you can’t get a ticket? You fake a sickness in order to enter the hospital across the street which has an awesome view of the stadium, of course.

Per Reggio Informa, one Juve fan in particular tried to sneak into the hospital as a patient to watch the match but failed. The doctors checked him out and was deemed healthy, and then he was discharged.

The report says this first started happening 10 years ago when Juventus played at Crotone in a Serie B match following Juventus’ involvement in Calciopoli, the 2006 Italian soccer match-fixing scandal.

Juventus won 2-0, and trying to get into the hospital, it’s kind of awesome, and that’s some serious dedication. We’ve all faked a sickness in order to be able to go do something we really want. This guy just tried to take it to the next level.
