NASCAR makes its only visit this season at Darlington on Sept. 6 for the Bojangles’ Southern 500. Kevin Harvick is the defending champion.

While the Sprint Cup Series takes the week off, the Xfinity and Camping World Series will be in action. The Xfinity Series heads to Road America while the Camping World Truck Series crosses the border to the Canadian Toire Motorsports Park.

The Xfinity and Camping World series will each hold qualifying this Saturday at their respective tracks. The Xfinity race will run Saturday while the Camping World race will be Sunday.

After that, the action shifts to Darlington, where all three series will run races. The Darlington schedule for Sprint Cup is set while the other two series’ schedule will be finalized after next weekend. The Sprint Cup entry list for Darlington will be released between Aug. 30-31.

Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch each have won four Sprint Cup events this season. Joey Logano has three wins after taking the checkered flag at Bristol. He’s joined by Matt Kenseth, who had won two of the previous three races before Bristol. Kevin Harvick, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kurt Busch are each two-time winners.

Kyle Busch is currently 29th in the driver standings. He has to finish 30th or higher in the final regular-season standings to qualify for the Chase, regardless of how many wins he has this season.
