Move over, Doug The Pug, and make room for Mr. Tickles.

Well, that might be a bit premature. But if you’re looking for an animal with an entertaining social media personality, look no further than NASCAR driver AJ Allmendinger’s cat, Mr. Tickles.

(He’s presumably Allmendinger’s cat based on the driver’s frequent cameos in his videos and the number of times they retweet and mention each other.)

With more than 2,300 followers on Twitter and more than 600 on Instagram, Mr. Tickles’ social media persona depicts him as a chill, sleep-driven feline who travels around the country in Allmendinger’s RV and only occasionally wakes up for photos.

And, of course, he’s a huge NASCAR fan.

According to his Twitter bio, Mr. Tickles was “found under a dumpster, (but is) now running the show.” Standard pet behavior.

So what’s Mr. Tickles up to today? Theoretically helping Allmendinger — who’s coming off a third-place finish at the Daytona 500 — prepare for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday.
