Motorists should be on the lookout for NASCAR drivers in Center City on Tuesday afternoon.
Race car drivers will be hitting the streets near City Hall starting at noon to promote the upcoming XFINITY Series race at Pocono Raceway.
The drivers – who include Ty Dillon, Brandon Jones, Darrell “Bubba” Wallace, Ryan Reed and Brennan Poole – will start and end their Philadelphia tours at the Comcast Center at 17th Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard. They’ll then drive to City Hall, make another stop at Reading Terminal Market and then loop back to the Comcast building.
The Pocono Raceway’s first XFINITY Series race, the Pocono 250, takes place June 4. The series is NASCAR’s second-tier circuit.
