Dale Earnhardt Jr., $17.25: While Dale Earnhardt Jr. has but one top-10 finish at Kentucky in his last four tries, he started and finished 13th in this race last year — and lines up 13th again for Saturday night’s race. He does own a pair of top fives at the track in just six starts, however, and getting him at such a low price point is worth the gamble that he’ll move up a few spots in the running order and finish in the top 10.
Brad Keselowski, $27: With the amount of respect Keselowski is getting, the late Rodney Dangerfield would be proud. It’s hard to reason why the Team Penske driver, a two-time winner in 2017 and winner of literally half of all Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races run at Kentucky Speedway — including last year’s race — has four drivers priced higher than him. But, hey, turn that into your gain and get Kes into your lineup.
Darrell Wallace Jr., $10: With the Quaker State 400 potentially serving as Wallace Jr.’s final race in the No. 43 Ford — injured Aric Almirola is eyeing a return — the talented rookie is likely to leave it all on the track and race his heart out. Sure, this could result in some over-driving and a costly mistake, but at only $10 the risk/reward factor of a possible top 10 is completely worth it. Also worth noting: In four XFINITY Series starts at Kentucky, he’s averaged a finish of 7.2.
