Sprint Cup points leader Kevin Harvick will be within striking distance to start Sunday’s race at Indianapolis.
Harvick will start sixth as the result of Saturday’s qualifying. Carl Edwards earned pole position. Next to Edwards will be Joey Logano, who enters the Crown Royal Presents the Jeff Kyle 400 at the Brickyard 69 points behind Harvick.

This will be the final Indianapolis race for Jeff Gordon, the defending champion and five-time winner. Gordon starts 19th.
Sunday’s race has a 3:49 p.m. ET green flag, with television coverage on NBC Sports Network. There is a slight chance of showers during the race.
Kyle Busch, winner of three of the past four Sprint Cup races, starts ninth. Having missed most of the season with injuries from a crash at Daytona, Busch is 33 in points standings. He must finish in the top 30 to make the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
Here is the starting grid for Sunday’s race. Note: Ryan Newman’s qualifying run was disqualified, so he will start 43rd. A crewman failed to install the right-side window in Newman’s car, resulting in a safety violation.
