Jan 1 (The Sports Xchange) – The Nashville Predators placed defenseman P.K. Subban on injured reserve with an upper-body injury, and assigned defenseman Adam Pardy to Milwaukee of the American Hockey League on Sunday.
Subban last played on Dec. 15 and has been out of the lineup since with the ailment. In 29 games with the Predators this season, he recorded seven goals and 10 assists.
The Predators said his status would be reevaluated in two to three weeks.

The Anaheim Ducks reassigned defenseman Shea Theodore to the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League.
Theodore, 21, collected one goal, five assists and 16 penalty minutes in 21 games with Anaheim this season.

The Washington Capitals reassigned forward Jakub Vrana to AHL Hershey.
Vrana, a 20-year-old from the Czech Republic, recorded one goal and two assists in 12 games with the Capitals this season. (Editing by Larry Fine) ))
