Nos. 19, 41 Monster Energy Series teams issued post-New Hampshire penalties – Nascar

The No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing team and the No. 41 Stewart-Haas Racing team in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series were assessed penalties for lug nuts not properly installed in last weekend’s race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The violations were discovered during post-race inspection.

Per the infraction under Sections 10.9.10.4 of the NASCAR Rule Book, Scott Graves, crew chief of the No. 19, and Tony Gibson, crew chief of the No. 41, were each fined $10,000.

The No. 19 driven by Daniel Suarez finished sixth in Sunday’s Overton’s 301, while the No. 41 driven by Kurt Busch finished eighth in the race.
