Sara Tommasi has made the bizarre jump from porn movies into the football boardroom.
The well-known Italian beauty has been hired by amateur side Marruvium in her homeland, although her exact role is still unclear.
Tommasi’s road to her new role has certainly been an interesting one.
From appearing nude on camera and starring in several hardcore porn films to dating football stars such as Ronaldinho and Mario Balotelli, the 34-year-old has led an eventful life and will no doubt help to raise the profile of her new employers.
And she already has a number of friends in high places.
Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is a big fan after meeting her at one of his infamous Bunga Bunga private parties.
Tommasi said of the friendship: “He was very impressed with me and my looks. He said I had beauty and intelligence, I should go into politics. He said it would be a steady wage.
“Silvio is always willing to help people. But I told him I just wanted to be an actress.”
It now appears his advice on a career in politics has been ignored as she prepares for her first role in football.
The club even held a signing ceremony to announce her arrival, with Tommasi happy to pose for pictures with the players and staff.
Tommasi has more than 96,000 followers on Twitter and more than 36,000 followers on Instagram and is expected to increase the notoriety of the football club that plays in Group B of the second division in the Abruzzo region east of Rome on the Adriatic coast.
Club president Romeo Love has no doubt about the contribution the showgirl can give his team.
“I am honored, we are very serious, Sara will surely [do] very well with us,” he said in Italian.
She reportedly declared during her unveiling announcement that being involved in a football club has been a goal of hers for some time.
“I spent a time when I was not in shape, but now I’m fine and I will give the best of me,” she told sports.sky.it. “Now I am a woman all house and sport.”
Here’s a closer look at football’s new star.
