Referees Powerless To Stop Massive Hockey Brawl

The Québec Major Junior Hockey League is a a wonderful hockey league spread across Québec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. It’s a charming part of the CHL, full of francophone names and, apparently, vicious brawls that even referees are powerless to stop. The Halifax Mooseheads (!) and the Saint John Sea Dogs (!!) went at it Friday night.

For their parts in escalating the brawl and deciding to fight between a referee sandwich, Kelly Bent and Bokondji Imama both got hefty suspensions.
