This is the 21st century, where symbols frequently replace words, and one NASCAR track is keeping up with the times.
Owned by Tony Stewart, Eldora Speedway is hosting a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race Wednesday night on its dirt track, which already makes the half-mile venue special. But it also has a sign offering patrons directions entirely in emojis.
Loosely translated, it appears to say if you walk forward, youโll eventually find an ATM, medical assistance, a place to have questions answered (maybe?), race information or results (also, maybe?) and, of course, a restroom.
This one adds food to the mix.
Hopefully those attending Wednesdayโs Eldora Dirt Derby are fluent in emoji because otherwise, they might just end up wandering around the whole race.
