DARLINGTON, S.C. — The NASCAR Xfinity Series will play host Saturday to the VFW Sports Clips Help a Her 200 at Darlington Raceway.

Here are the particulars (all times are ET):

START: Chris Gaudette II, a Help a Hero recipient, will give the command for drivers to start their engines at 3:37 p.m. ET. The green flag is scheduled for 3:45 p.m.

DISTANCE: The race is scheduled for 147 laps (200.8 miles) around the 1.366-mile track.

PRERACE SCHEDULE: The Xfinity garage opens at 9:30 a.m. Qualifying is at 11:45 a.m. The drivers meeting is at 1:15 p.m. Driver introductions are at 3 p.m.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: It will be performed by Radio Romance at 3:31 p.m..

TV/RADIO: NBC will broadcast the race (and streaming available at http://stream.nbcsports.com/liveextra), starting with Countdown to Green at 3 p.m. Motor Racing Network will broadcast the race on radio and at MRN.com. SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will carry MRN’s broadcast.

FORECAST: The wunderground.com site predicts 87 degrees at race time with a 15% chance of rain.

LAST TIME: Chase Elliott outdueled Elliott Sadler to win his second consecutive Xfinity race (after scoring his debut win a week earlier at Texas Motor Speedway).
