DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The NASCAR Xfinity Series will hold its final restrictor-plate race of the season Saturday with the Subway Firecracker 250 at Daytona International Speedway.
Here are the particulars (all times are ET):
START: Jared the Subway Guy and U.S. Navy, Petty Officer Second Class John Casper will give the command for drivers to start their engines at 7:38 p.m. ET. The green flag is scheduled for 7:50 p.m.
DISTANCE: The race is scheduled for 100 laps (250 miles) around the 2.5-mile superspeedway.
NATIONAL ANTHEM: It will be performed by Candace Walker, winner of the Straightaway to Stardom contest, at 7:31 p.m.
TV/RADIO: NBCSN will broadcast the race (and streaming available at http://stream.nbcsports.com/liveextra), starting with a prerace show at 7 p.m. Motor Racing Network will broadcast the race on radio and at MRN.com. SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will carry MRN’s broadcast.
FORECAST: The wunderground.com site predicts 81 degrees at race time with a 20% chance of rain.
LAST TIME: Kasey Kahne won with a last-lap pass of JR Motorsports teammate Regan Smith in a green-white-checkered finish.
