UKAD investigators ‘in new visit to British Cycling headquarters’ – Telegraph.co.uk
UKAD previously called on British Cycling’s HQ two months ago while they were investigating an unspecified claim of wrongdoing.
Team Sky principal Sir Dave Brailsford was grilled by a House of Commons select committee this week about the package, which he said contained the decongestant Fluimucil, although there is no suggestion that this latest Ukad visit is linked to Brailsford’s explanation.
Meanwhile, a number of contributors to an independent review into alleged wrongdoing at British Cycling have claimed there was a climate of fear and bullying within the organisation. Former national mountain bike champion Jenny Copnall told The Mail: “My issues were more with the seeming blacklisting of individuals for speaking out.”
