Another key moment in Boston’s bid for the 2024 Olympics will take place Thursday night.
The Boston 2024 Organizing Committee and No Boston Olympics will participate in a debate hosted by The Boston Globe and FOX25.
Boston 2024 chairman Steve Pagliuca and U.S. Olympic Committee member Daniel Doctoroff will be there to defend the proposal, and Chris Dempsey, a co-chair of No Boston Olympics, and Smith College economist Andrew Zimbalist will speak in opposition.
The Globe’s Sacha Pfeiffer and FOX25’s Maria Stephanos will co-host the hour-long debate, which is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET.

why 85% of the time is being used for Boston 2024 to do propaganda about their bid? Why aren’t their opponents allowed the same amount of time????

That was a terrible debate. The moderators need to be better informed about the issues–the numbers–and needed to deliberately walk the players through specific issues rather than ping around. For example, WAS there surplus in Salt Lake City??
