The Philadelphia International Cycling Classic, the professional bike race that features the Manayunk Wall, is underway.

Eduard Prades of Spain won the men’s race, covering 110.7 miles on the 12.3-mile course in 3 hours 57 minutes and 37 seconds.
The women’s race, which is part of the newly formed Women’s World Tour, comprises 19 teams. That race starts at 12:30 p.m. and totals 73.8 miles.
The 12.3-mile course’s start and finish line is on Lyceum Avenue between Manayunk and Pechin Street, at the top of “the Wall” in Roxborough.
Some road closures began Friday, with all closures lasting until 5 p.m. Sunday.
Among the closures: the entire length of Kelly Drive; Main Street from Levering Street to Ridge Avenue; and Manayunk Avenue from Roxborough Avenue to Ridge.
Many side streets near the race course will be closed.
SEPTA Routes 9, 27, 32, 35, 38, 61, 65, 124/125, K, and R will be detoured beginning at 5:30 a.m. Sunday until 5 p.m.
The race, which dates to 1985, is free to watch.
Viewing areas include Main Street in Manayunk, Lemon Hill in Fairmount Park, Midvale Avenue near Kelly Drive, Kelly from Midvale to Sedgley Drive, and the Wall on Lyceum Avenue.
