CHICAGO — Fourteen people were transported to area hospitals after a possible collision between two CTA trains.
It happened at about 9 a.m. Tuesday just north of the Sedgwick station.
It appears that a southbound Brown Line train made contact with a southbound Purple Line train. There was no derailment of any rail cars, and it’s unclear at this time whether or not the trains collided.
A pregnant woman and a person with diabetes were among those transported to area hospital for evaluation. Everyone was listed in fair or good condition, officials said.
Normal CTA service resumed at about 10:30 a.m.
CTA continues to investigate the incident.
