WAUKEGAN, IL (NBC NEWS) – At least four people are in the hospital after a massive explosion at a silicone plant.
Four people were injured in a plant explosion in Illinois.
It happened shortly before 10 p.m. Friday at the AB Specialty Silicones in Waukegan, Illinois.
At least four people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries; however crews are still looking for others who may be hurt.
There is no concern for hazardous material being mixed in with debris.
No word on what caused the explosion as officials are still investigating.
