– MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Philadelphia 76ers (0-17) can match the worst start in NBA history when they play the Memphis Grizzlies. Game starts 6 p.m.
– GHENT, Belgium – Britain captures its first Davis Cup in 79 years when Andy Murray beats Belgium’s David Goffin in the first reverse singles. The victory gives Britain a 3-1 lead in the best-of-five final.
– The AP announces its latest Top 25 college football rankings. Released at 2 p.m.
– Bigger stakes, same attitude. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney knows his No. 1 Tigers are ready for the ACC title game against North Carolina after grinding out a 12-0 season.
– Alabama and Florida are gearing up for the SEC championship game. For the Crimson Tide, a win would mean a playoff trip while Derrick Henry makes his case for the Heisman Trophy.
– DES MOINES, Iowa – Iowa finally knows its opponent in its first Big Ten title game – Michigan State. The winner earns a spot in the playoffs.
– ANAHEIM, Calif. – No. 3 Michigan State plays Kris Dunn and Providence in the title game of the DirecTV Wooden Legacy. The Friars upset No. 11 Arizona in the semifinals. Game starts 10 p.m.
– MLS conference championships, second leg: Portland at FC Dallas (5 p.m.) and Columbus at New York (7:30 p.m.).
– DETROIT – In the only game on the NHL schedule, the Red Wings play the Florida Panthers. Detroit has won three of four and hasn’t lost in regulation in two weeks. Game starts 2 p.m.
– ASPEN, Colo. – Mikaela Shiffrin tries to win back-to-back World Cup slaloms after capturing Saturday’s race by a record 3.07 seconds. First run noon, second run 3 p.m.
– ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates – Nico Rosberg captures the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to complete the Formula One season with three straight victories. Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton is second.
