#MACtion is coming to the CBS Sports Network.

The network and the MAC announced Wednesday an agreement that will see CBSSN air league football and basketball contests through the 2018-2019 season. Via a sublicense agreement with ESPN, the broadcasts will begin this fall with CBSSN carrying six football games and seven basketball games during the 2015-2016 season.

In keeping with the MAC’s tradition of exciting midweek action, two of the 2015 football games airing on CBS Sports Network will be played on Thursdays, with another the Friday after Thanksgiving. The other three will air on Saturday.

“Today’s announcement is another important step in the continued growth of Mid-American Conference television coverage,” said MAC commissioner Dr. Jon Steinbrecher said in a release. “Having CBS Sports Network join us is part of our vision for the growth of live national coverage for our fan base.”

CBS Sports Network, the 24-hour home of CBS Sports, is available across the country through local cable, video and telco providers and via satellite on DirecTV Channel 221 and Dish Network Channel 158. For more information, visit cbssportsnetwork.com.
