“Hosts Alex, Chris and Zach Lupica are three brothers living in NYC who use sports and pop culture as a medium to brighten the darkness of your morning” is how In The Loop, a new sports podcast brought to you by the progeny of pocket egotist Mike Lupica, is billed on its official Facebook page. The Lupica boys do not have any episodes to share with us yet, but they do have this promo video, featuring sage media analysis from dear old dad:
“This is the demographic that everybody in sports kills to have,” explains an excited Mike Lupica. “Young guys in sports, young guys who buy the product, young guys who watch the games. But when they start talking about sports, you feel like the way I did when I first came to New York, and this was the conversation at the end of the bar.”
Sounds like the Lupicas have the podcast game all figured out!
