● (12:40 p.m. ET): Los Angeles Dodgers officials have told right fielder Yasiel Puig that he won’t be traded, CBS Sports reports. Full story

Philadelphia Phillies left-hander Cole Hamels will face the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, Cincinnati Reds right-hander Johnny Cueto will pitch against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field, and Texas Rangers right-hander Yovani Gallardo is in Anaheim to face the Los Angeles Angels. ● (9:03 p.m. ET): The Los Angeles Dodgers would be very particular in what they get in return if they trade outfielder Yasiel Puig, Ken Rosenthal writes.
● (7:19 p.m. ET): The New York Mets worked out a deal with the rival Atlanta Braves to land two veteran bats: infielders Juan Uribe and Kelly Johnson. Full story
● (5:26 p.m. ET): Cleveland Indians general manager Chris Antonetti says he has “no motivation” to trade any young starting pitchers, The Associated Press reports. Antonetti says he has received numerous calls from teams interested in Cleveland’s starters, who include Corey Kluber, Carlos Carrasco, Trevor Bauer, Danny Salazar and Cody Anderson. Full story
● (3:07 p.m. ET): The St. Louis Cardinals have strengthened their bullpen by acquiring right-hander Steve Cishek from the Miami Marlins, as first reported by the Miami Herald. In exchange, the Marlins get minor-league right-hander Kyle Barraclough. Full story
