The Green Bay Packers expect to be without running back Eddie Lacy for several weeks as he tends to a high ankle sprain, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
The Packers will host the Chicago Bears on Thursday night. The backfield depth was already lacking as James Starks is out for about four weeks as he underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus.

The Packers traded a late-round draft pick in exchange for running back Knile Davis on Tuesday. Randall Cobb and Ty Montgomery will also be other options for Aaron Rodgers.
Lacy finished Sunday’s 30–16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys with 65 yards on 17 carries. He did not practice on Monday and Tuesday.
