A man working security at a northern Harris County sports bar was shot by an unruly patron Sunday morning, according to authorities.
Around 2:30 a.m., a security guard at Trevino’s Tejano Sports Bar asked a patron to leave the bar at Bauman and East Sunnyside.
The guard followed the bar guest out to the parking lot, when the ejected visitor pulled a gun and shot the guard.
The suspect fled the scene and got away, and the guard was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
