Stephen Curry never stops amazing the world with his basketball skills.

At this point, he is so good that science nearly can’t handle what he’s doing on a basketball court.

ESPN’s Sports Science broke down Curry’s game-winning, 32-footer against the Thunder on Saturday. The science behind that shot is mindblowing.

Curry pulled up from 32 feet to take that jumper. And according to Sports Science, his margin for error shrunk by 26 percent compared to a regular 3-pointer. Basically, if Curry’s release had been off by just an eighth of an inch, he would have missed the hoop by a foot.

He needed to be perfect to make a shot from that distance, and he was. Curry already shoots a layup-like percentage (35 for 53) from 28-plus feet. His ability to square up and shoot in long range from the same 115-degree angle that he does in a regular three-pointer is to thank for that.

Curry has basketball down to a science, that’s for sure.
