Leicester celebrate their latest Premier League victory at Everton

Chelsea fans made their unhappiness clear regarding the departure of manager Jose Mourinho but winger Pedro Rodriguez insisted there was unity at Stamford Bridge for the victory over Sunderland and tweeted: “We both team and fans played a great game this afternoon. Come on Chelsea!”

Newcastle’s Siem de Jong could not hide his frustration as his side followed last week’s shock win at Tottenham with a draw against bottom club at Aston Villa, putting an enraged emoji in his tweet, which reads: “I know, I should have scored need to keep improving and keep getting results!”

Tottenham favourite Harry Kane marked his 100th game for the club by opening the scoring in the victory at Southampton and tweeted: “Very proud to have played 100 games for #THFC. To score and win as well makes it even better!”

Kane’s Spurs team-mate Jan Vertonghen is clearly planning a celebration, even if the meaning is a little obscure in his tweet: “Antwerp tastes even better after a win!”
